Editorial Policy

Our Principles

  1. Reader first. We write to help readers decide safely, not to push downloads.
  2. Evidence over claims. We show what we tested and say what we could not.
  3. Independence. Advertisers and app publishers do not influence our verdicts.
  4. Transparency. Authors, dates and corrections are visible.
  5. Legality and safety. We do not publish or link to piracy tools.

How We Research

We start with official sources: developer pages, store listings, terms of service and documentation. We compare them with search results, user reports and independent security write-ups. Where sources disagree, we say so. For technical statements we test on a clean device or emulator when possible.

Authors and Reviewers

Each guide has an author. Safety-critical guides are read by a second person before publication. Author profiles list experience and areas of expertise. See our About page.

Fact-Checking and Sources

Claims about safety, legality, availability and prices must be backed by a primary source or by our own testing. If a fact is regional or likely to change, we say “check the official page for current details”.

Updating Content

We review important guides regularly and after major app, Android or policy changes. The “updated” date on a page changes only when we make a meaningful edit, not for cosmetic changes.

Corrections

Report errors on the contact page. We confirm, correct and note material changes. Serious errors are fixed within a short time and, where it matters, noted in the text.

Advertising and Sponsorship

Ads are labelled and kept separate from content and download buttons. We do not accept payment to change a rating, publish a “safe” verdict or remove a warning. Any sponsored or affiliate content will be disclosed on the page.

Images and Media

We use original images, licensed stock or openly licensed images, with attribution where required. We never remove watermarks or attribution.

Use of AI Tools

We may use AI tools to help with research or drafting. Every guide is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a human before publishing, and we remain responsible for what appears on the site.
